Who I see
For adult individual therapy, I work with folks who are adjusting to postpartum life after introducing a tiny human to the family system. I also support adults navigating parenting challenges, experiencing life transitions, living as a neurodivergent human, exploring complex trauma, and engaging in relationships while holding attachment struggles.
For child & adolescent therapy, I work with youth that are expressing big feelings, engaging in unhelpful & disruptive behaviors, navigating the beginning stages of neurodivergence, and seeking regulation strategies.
We might work well together if…
You’re looking for someone laidback, genuine, direct, and who will utilize humor (when appropriate). My space is relaxed and I will show up as an authentic human being as well. If we do telehealth, you will see my two pups (*often).
How I work
I operate from the belief that you are the expert of your own experience. I enjoy utilizing a collaborative approach to therapy. I pull from humanistic and holistic approaches to therapy, including person-centered, attachment-based, trauma-focused, and somatic-focused framework. When working with youth, I utilize play therapy to meet the developmental needs of each kiddo.
A bit about me personally
When I’m not in sessions, you will likely find me spending time with my family. I am a homebody, and often will be re-watching my comfort shows (right now it’s Widow’s Bay) or finding time to play some cozy video games (Stardew Valley or The Sims 4).
