What do therapy sessions look like?

Sessions with me often include a brief check-in, a quick discussion about what might be helpful to process or a continuation of something we’ve been working on, and then we dive in.

I encourage you to make yourself comfortable- use a fidget toy, wrap yourself in a blanket, take your shoes off, have a snack or beverage. Make the space (virtual or in-person) a place where you can feel grounded and show up fully.

Caregiver Coaching

Parenting doesn't come with a manual, and every child is different. Caregiver coaching provides a supportive space to ask questions, problem-solve challenges, and build practical strategies that fit your family's unique needs. Whether you're navigating big emotions, challenging behaviors, neurodivergence, anxiety, or simply wanting to strengthen your connection with your child, we'll work together to better understand what's happening beneath the behavior and find approaches that feel realistic, compassionate, and effective.

My goal isn't to tell you how to parent—it's to partner with you, build on your strengths, and help you feel more confident in supporting your child.

What does Caregiver Coaching look like?

Caregiver coaching sessions are designed to fit into your busy life and can be completed from the comfort of your home by phone or secure Zoom. Sessions are conversational, collaborative, and focused on what feels most helpful to you.

We'll begin with a check-in to talk about how things have been going since we last met and identify any current challenges or questions. From there, we'll work together to better understand what's happening, explore practical strategies, and problem-solve in a way that feels realistic for your family. We'll wrap up by identifying a few goals or ideas to try before our next session, giving you the opportunity to build confidence and see what works best for you and your child.

There is no expectation to have everything figured out before we meet—just come as you are, and we'll take it one step at a time.
